Billy
Andrade is a 4-time winner on the PGA Tour. He captivated the
attention of golf fans worldwide in 1991, when he became the first player
in six years to win his first two PGA tour titles in consecutive weeks
(Kemper Open and Buick Classic). Billy also won the Bell Canadian Open
in 1998 and the 2000 Invensys Classic at Las Vegas. In 2002, he finished
in the top 50 on the tour money list for the ninth time in his career
with a career best $1,365,707. This year, Billy has already surpassed
the $1 million dollar mark in tour earnings for the fourth time in the
last six seasons. He is 52nd on the PGA Tour’s career earnings list
with more than $10.5 million won. A native of Bristol, Rhode Island, Billy
was a three-time All-American at Wake Forest, where he was a member of
the 1986 NCAA Championship team. Along with Brad Faxon, he runs Billy
Andrade/Brad Faxon Charities for Children, which was formed in 1990, and
has donated more than $4 million to children’s charities in Rhode
Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. He and Brad have been the deserving
recipients of many honors and awards for their remarkable charity work.
